Mouse Rage Syndrome (MRS)
If you spend any time on a computer, it is likely you have experienced "Mouse Rage Syndrome" (MRS). Researchers from the UK's Social Issues Research Centre state that MRS can cause negative effects on the user's immune, cardiovascular and nervous systems, resulting in a quickened heart rate, profuse sweating, and furious clicking of the mouse.
It is believed that the MRS is caused by:
- Slow to load pages
- Confusing / difficult to navigate layouts
- Excessive pop-ups
- Unnecessary advertising
- Site unavailability
