Tumaini AIDS Prevention Program (TAPP)
We were recently contacted by the
Tumaini AIDS Prevention Program (TAPP) to discuss redesigning their
web site. Once they told us their stories and what their organization is about, we were hooked. Not only that, they gave us these great looking, necklaces made by women in Uganda from strips of recycled paper. These necklaces are their primary form of revenue generation that provides opportunities and HIV/AIDS education for communities in Uganda. Read
more about TAPP and their
programs, how you can get involved and where you can
get great looking necklaces like these.

One Man, One Colts Jersey, One Challenge…Day 1
Imagine with me for a moment, the Colts enter the post season undefeated, 16-0 in one of the most impressive post-superbowl championship seasons this league has ever seen. Now, imagine with me waking up every morning during that 17 week period not having to worry about what to wear. Sounds like a dream, right? Well, not exactly. This dream may become the reality for our own Stefan Bean. Prior to last nights impressive Colts victory over New Orleans this very challenge was forged between two coworkers. From now until the Colts lose, Stefan will be required to wear his number 18 Colts jersey. This dedication is not something new to our team here, but is a unique challenge to show how far we will go to uphold any challenge we are presented with. And even while we will surely have plenty of client meetings during that time, we will not be apologetic about this casual attire, rather it will become central to who we are and our enduring dedication to never back down no matter how large or small the challenge may be.
We're dedicated to our Colts as they defend their title of Superbowl Champs. And as we saw last night, there is great potential for this to be the greatest season the league has ever seen, and we're ready for it. We will be chronicling the season as well as the Jersey Challenge as the season rolls on. We hope you will follow this momentous season and all it holds for this city with us.
Welcome to Day 1.

Alive Logo to Be Featured in LogoLounge Volume IV
Yesterday we received some exciting news that the
"Alive" logo we designed for St. Paul United Methodist's youth group in Pensacola, Florida was selected to be featured in
LogoLounge Volume IV. This is a great honor for us to have recognition in a nationally (and maybe internationally) published book which will be used as a reference by designers and students for years to come.

Turning 20!
There aren't many design firms today that can still claim they have been around for 20 years, but we can. Pulse Creative Partners began it's life as Bean Graphics in May of 1987. Our original founder, Sam Bean, started the business as a slide presentation company and built it into a full service design firm over 17 years. In June of 2004, Stefan Bean, joined the company as a designer and then in January of 2007, purchased the company and formed Pulse Creative Partners. Through transitions and evolutions, we have become every bit of the company Sam Bean had originally envisioned and more.
Thank you to all of our clients, past and present, for helping us achieve 20 great years of design. With your help, and our intention to continue to serve you with excellent branding and design, we will be able to see another 20 years.

Our Earth Day Resolution: To Be More Green
We are in the midst of a lot of changes around here. In January, we changed
our name. Currently, we are undergoing some major changes to
our space.
Every day at Pulse Creative Partners, we strive to make an impact. However, our newest resolution is to make less of an impact. In honor of Earth Month and the world around us, Pulse Creative Partners has decided to reduce our ecological footprint and encourage those around us to do the same.
In addition to evaluating each and every project we work on to determine the best use of resources, we will also be making some changes in the way we use and reuse materials here at work.
Below is a list of some of the small changes we have resolved to implement at our office, and we ask you to consider which of these actions you can start doing at your workplace or at home.
- Recycling any materials we can.
- Printing less, and double-sided when possible.
- Turning off our computers, and unplugging them whenever possible.
- Turning off lights when leaving rooms.
- Using recycled paper products.
- Using environmentally-friendly cleaning supplies.
We will continue to make changes in an effort to be more “green”, and will be sure to keep you updated on our progress. In the meantime,
we would love to hear about what your workplace is doing to reduce your impact on the environment as we post tips for others on our site.
