For All Those Arrested Development (George Michael) Fans Needing A Fix

Michael Cera, more affectionately known as George Michael on the award-winning and painfully funny (and now canceled) television show, Arrested Development, has created his own web site, www.clarkandmichael.com With short videos that bring us his very own style of reality web comedy, we are once again able to enjoy the dry and sometimes uncomfortable humor we once knew. www.clarkandmichael.com also contains a blog and many other little tidbits that are sure to give you minutes, if not hours of distraction from your ho-hum work day.

London 2012 Olympics Logo A Huge Flop (In My Opinion)

Yes, I am not showing the whole logo because that's more than enough to know that this logo is BAD! Created by Wolff Olins, a design industry behemoth, I would have expected a much better interpretation. Olins firm branded the 2012 Olympics as Everyone's Olympics. If he means everyones, like anyone could have come up with a better logo than this one, than they hit it on the mark. Especially at a price tag of nearly $800,000 (yes, there are 5 zeros in that number) I would have been happier with just a 2012 in Comic Sans over the one they were paid for. (Ok, I am getting a little out of control, I would never want to see comic sans as an Olympic logo, or any logo, for that matter, but you get my point.)

Needless to say, our firm could have come up with something much more stylish and representative of a worldwide event for far less than that. (Olympic committee, if you are reading this, we are up to the challenge if you want to give it a try.)

Brush Up On Your Logo History

Logo Design History takes an in depth look at the history of loads of logos from Apple Computer to Yamaha. Not only are the logos and their history presented in pretty good detail, many, if not all of them have a link to download the full vector version of the logo, in case you might need one. A Well Deserved Victory

Yesterday we were witness to history as the Indianapolis Colts won their first Super Bowl as the "Indianapolis" Colts, Peyton Manning finally got his ring and most importantly, Tony Dungy became the first African American head coach to win a Super Bowl. While the 4th quarter was anti-climactic, the victory was well deserved and fought for on both sides of the ball. The Colts had yet another spectacular defensive effort with interceptions by both Bob Sanders and Kelvin Hayden, who ran 56 yards for a touchdown, as well as the Colts 3 fumble recoveries. It just seemed to be the Colts day despite less than perfect weather conditions. In the end, our classy and humble Colts organization gave all the glory of this amazing victory to God. What an amazing and spectacular year, proving the Colts can win in any circumstance. Thank you Colts for a great year! Good luck to all of the Pro-Bowlers and we hope to see success again next year! GO COLTS!

Two Great Coaches, One Amazing Purpose

As we are just days away from what could be one of the most memorable Super Bowls in history, it only seems appropriate to take a minute to look at the two men who helped lead these two teams, the Chicago Bears and the Indianapolis Colts, to this great stage. Tony Dungy and Lovie Smith have both proven themselves to be great coaches, but what they would probably like you to focus on more, is who they look to for guidance and inspiration, Jesus Christ. Both men, coaches and friends, look to God and give Him the glory first when put in the spotlight. But what is even more incredible, both men get to coach together in front of millions of spectators this Sunday, and they won't be shy, when one team is the victor, to tell the world whom they believe helped them get to this place. Not only that, but both men have joined together to start a website called Beyond the Ultimate.org. They want everyone to know that they believe there is more to life than just living.

Here is a brief statement made by both coaches, and will be placed as a full page ad for Beyond the Ultimate.org this Friday in USA Today.

"On Sunday, one of us will be a world champion. We may have reached the ultimate goal for a football coach, but we know that there’s more to life than football. Even when you have achieved the ultimate, something better lies beyond.

As pro football coaches, we are also men of faith. A faith that drives us every day to seek excellence. A faith that comforts us even in the worst of times. A faith that assures us that when we are walking the sideline, we are walking with God.

We would love to tell you more. Visit www.BeyondTheUltimate.org for stories and videos from real people who have discovered that there’s more to life than just living."
