They Win Again…
Well, the Indianapolis Colts are winners once again. Now 6-0 for the 2nd season in a row, they will continue their streak when they take on Denver next week. This weeks win was by far the least nail biting of the season. With the first half putting up a little bit of a question mark, the Colts came back after the second half and proved why they should remain 6-0. The defense looked quite a bit more like a team going 6-0, but could be explained by our recent acquisition of Booger McFarland from Tampa Bay.

A Man, A Plan, A Canal, Panama
The Panama canal has been appoved for expansion. The bigger canal will allow for larger ships to pass through and also will aim to reduce congestion in the famous canal.
... and I couldn't resist using one of my favorite palindromes.

Today’s Playlist…
Yesterday, I downloaded two new albums from itunes. They will probably be on repeat today, or until I get tired of listening to them.
John Mayer - Continuum
Now on his third album, John Mayer is making maybe one of his most political and idealistic statments in "Waiting on the World to Change". However, he still maintains his "stud" status with songs such as "Slow Dancing In A Burning Room", "Stop This Train", and "Dreaming With A Broken Heart". Though he still seems to remain true to his blues, jazz and rock styles in this great third effort.
Snow Patrol - Eyes Open
With their second effort, "Eyes Open" seems to be a great sophomore response to their first album "Final Straw". Though it still has some pop-esque rifs, it remains a very cohesive and thrilling follow-up to their first album. This album literally and musically has overtones of Sufjan Stevens with some creative layering of instruments and choral backing. Specifically, "Shut Your Eyes" and "You Could Be Happy" followed by a very simple and indie sounding "Set the Fire to the Third Bar". All in all, this is a great flowing album worth picking up.
