An Unlikely Bond
A tiger and an orangutan is an unlikely pair, but at the Taman Safari zoo, a pair of month-old Sumatran tiger twins have formed an inseparable bond with two young orangutans. Both sets were abandoned after birth and the four-some have been sharing a nursery for the past month.

Meet Roundhouse Seawolf
Hammer & Coop is a great microsite for the Mini Coop. In addition to watching episodes of the dynamic duo, you can also generate your own action character name. Rhaya Shilts, alias Roundhouse Seawolf. Via

Welcome Guest Writer, Wes White
"Picture this: A slightly overweight high school kid, circa 96', with one wicked
Butt-Cut, pimples, who always wore hockey jerseys (with an occasional flannel shirt), and was bored as hell. Sounds like you; you say? Well, my friend we are two Green Day fans way past our prime!"

106,000
That is the number of aluminum cans used in the US every thirty seconds.
Running the Numbers: An American Self-Portrait is a series by Chris Jordan that "looks at contemporary American culture through the austere lens of statistics. Each image portrays a specific quantity of something: fifteen million sheets of office paper (five minutes of paper use); 106,000 aluminum cans (thirty seconds of can consumption) and so on."
The statistics are startling, and the large detailed prints are an artistic and effective way of getting the message across. Via

“Kind of Like a Misbehaving Pet”
Clocky: "The alarm clock that runs away and hides when you don't wake up... Clocky is kind of like a misbehaving pet, only he will get up at the right time."

Unfortunately, this means anyone with a misbehaving pet (like my cat, seen above, in a box) most likely doesn't need Clocky.

Or if you'd like an alarm clock that will go off every couple hours, just have an 8 month old baby like in Mandy's case.

A Well Deserved Victory
Yesterday we were witness to history as the Indianapolis Colts won their first Super Bowl as the "Indianapolis" Colts, Peyton Manning finally got his ring and most importantly, Tony Dungy became the first African American head coach to win a Super Bowl. While the 4th quarter was anti-climactic, the victory was well deserved and fought for on both sides of the ball. The Colts had yet another spectacular defensive effort with interceptions by both Bob Sanders and Kelvin Hayden, who ran 56 yards for a touchdown, as well as the Colts 3 fumble recoveries. It just seemed to be the Colts day despite less than perfect weather conditions. In the end, our classy and humble Colts organization gave all the glory of this amazing victory to God. What an amazing and spectacular year, proving the Colts can win in any circumstance. Thank you Colts for a great year! Good luck to all of the Pro-Bowlers and we hope to see success again next year! GO COLTS!
