When AIC approached us for a new web site, they not only wanted an aesthetic change but also had problems with the usability and functionality of their current site. The challenge presented to us was to organize the large amount of information they needed on the site. The goal of the site was to both inform vendors and customers about their company and also promote their products and services.
The site was designed using sectional vertical navigation so that visitors can quickly determine what page they want to see, and then easily navigate in between the different sections and pages. Macromedia Contribute was also integrated into this site so that the content of the site could be managed by an AIC employee.
